NPR - NPR: Live Concerts from All Songs Considered Podcast

There is a pun in there somewhere.
If there is one man that changed the way that I listen to environments it would be Tom Waits. Complete, with raw sounds and voice. He takes story telling to a new level of life. Mr. Tom has just finished up a tour in the USA and has graced us with publishing a 2 hour show on NPR for us to download.

It is a great selection of old an new classic Tom.

The easiest way that I found to download it is through the iTunes link above released on 7/28/08.

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

I am giddy, just by the thought of have more people on board to write on sounds and zounds. Steve and Eric have join me in writing about music and music reviews. They are both great musicians and collectors of music and I can’t wait to hear what types of new and old music that I will be exposed to.

Till then – let the beat go on.

Welcome guys!

What caught me was her story tell with lyrically frame works that make you think twice about what she is singing about. Bag of Hammers is my pick from the new CD, complete with great runs of words. “Shake the frame of this house /distress the wood make it shout / And as sharp as I sting /As sharp as i sing / It still soothes you doesn’t it / Like a lick of ice cream
